Sorry we’ve been a little quiet around here. Lots of activity via facebook and twitter but our poor website needs some lovin’, too.

Just a quick update before we get back to work: Cutthroat Shamrock is coming to town this Friday!!! Can’t wait for that one. Click here to view the event online.

Things with Party Animal Radio and Throwing Things Records have been going up and up and up.

We’re busy, happy and making new friends everyday!

Number Six Media is very pleased to announce our newest collaboration with Party Animal Radio! We will be featuring a weekly guest on the Tuesday show (11am – 1pm) and you will be able to catch info on our upcoming events via the shows and PAR sites. Be sure to check them out and stay tuned (get it?) for more exciting news!

We have a bunch of stuff to announce so let’s just jump right in:

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday, The Disappeared will be taking part in a mini tour with our great Chicagoan friends, La Aramada. Try to catch one of the shows:

  • Thursday, 2.23 @ Urban Lounge in St. Louis MO
  • Friday, 2.24 @ Mike ‘n Molly’s in Champaign IL
  • Saturday 2.25 @ The Money Shot in Chicago IL

Saturday, March 3, The Reebs will be releasing their long awaited new full length, Shame & Whiskey. Come check the show at The Heavy Anchor on Gravois.

The following Saturday sees our new friends, Unanimous, playing an awesome reggae set at the Jefferson Warehouse. These dudes are super talented and a guaranteed party.

Come back to the Jefferson Warehouse on March 20 to catch The Jukebox Romantics (NJ) and Problems (NY), joined by Black for a Second. This is the first of 3 huge shows this week.

March 22 at The Heavy Anchor is the second big show, featuring American Pinup (NY) and Lost in Society (NJ) with The Cuban Missiles and The Haddonfields. The Haddys leave for tour the next day so wish our local boys a farewell and fall in love with some new music.

Immediately following that show, head to Lemmons for an after party featuring Half Raptor (AR) and super group, The Winchester (members of BFAS, The Haddonfields, Better Days and Celebrity Autopsy?! yeah). Make sure you don’t schedule anything important for Friday morning because it’s gonna be a late one!

Looking forward to all of these shows and future friendships!

One of our newest family members, Eric Moeller & the Strummalongs, has been nominated by AMP Magazine to appear in their Unsigned Bands section of an upcoming issue. Please click HERE to vote for them. You can do so once a day, every day until February 3. Let’s help get this hardworking band the recognition they deserve!

There is tons and tons of dope stuff happening on Saturday so it might be hard to make a final decision. If you should choose to party with The Disappeared (and you’re 21+), this is where we will be:

Happy Tuesday! We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be working with Eric Moeller and the Strummalongs in the upcoming months on promoting their latest release and booking some regional tours. Check them out online and most definitely get out to a show.

In other news, Black for a Second and The Haddonfields are very close to releasing their new full lengths on Throwing Things Records. Finally! These albums are so good; you guys are going to love ‘em.

Ensain James has some upcoming open mic night performances. Hope to see some of you at The Gramophone on Tuesday, December 13 or El Lenador on Thursday, December 15. He kills it every time so it’s a guaranteed to rule.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Our friends in The Reebs have just put the finishing touches on their new full length, Shame & Whiskey. The artwork has popped up on Facebook and the release show is January 6, 2012, at The Heavy Anchor. Great job, gents!

We are pleased to announce our work with newest St. Louis label – Throwing Things Records. The first two releases from TTR will be the new Haddonfields and Black for a Second full lengths so we’re getting things started with a bang. We will still be working with I Hate Punk Rock Records but will be focusing mostly on promotions & booking for the St. Louis bands associated with the label. This is a great time to be an artist in our city!

We couldn’t be more thrilled to host Tom May of The Menzingers and Luther from Philadelphia at The Heavy Anchor on Thursday, November 10. What could be better? Amazing locals acts, that’s what. As You Were will be starting us off on the right foot and the night will be closed out by a new collaboration known as Factory. Featuring Joe Jordan of Black for a Second and Dan Johanning of The Disappeared, Factory has been working on a very special Springsteen cover set. With an appearance by Travis Schaeffer of Better Days, this set is not to be missed. Come party with us!
